Questions

Can I open a password-protected PDF?

Yes. You will be asked for the password, which is checked on your device and never sent anywhere.

Can I select and copy text?

Not yet. The viewer shows pages as pictures. To copy text, use a tool that works on text such as your browser’s built-in viewer.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your own device. There is no upload step and no server that receives it. You can even switch off your internet after the page has loaded and most tools keep working.
