Add QR code

Put a QR code on your PDF: a web link, a UPI payment, a phone number, a WhatsApp chat, a Wi-Fi login or a contact card. Drag it where you want it, add a caption, and it prints crisp at any size.

How to use Add QR code

  1. 1Choose your PDF.
  2. 2Pick what the code should hold: a web link, a UPI payment, a phone number, a WhatsApp chat, a Wi-Fi login, a contact card and more. Fill in the details and the QR code appears on the page as you type.
  3. 3Drag the code where it should go and drag the blue dot to make it bigger. Add a few words under it if you like (for example “Scan to pay”), and choose which pages it goes on.
  4. 4Press Add the QR code. Scan the saved file with your phone before you send it out.

Questions

Does the code need a website or internet to work?

No. The code holds the information itself (a “static” QR code), so it keeps working for as long as it can be read. Nothing is stored on a server, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Can I change the link later, or see how many people scanned it?

No. That needs a service that sits between the scan and the link (a “dynamic” QR code), which would mean a server. A code made here is fixed: to change it, make a new one.

Will it scan when printed?

Yes, if it is big enough and keeps its white border. Aim for 2.5 cm or more across. The tool shows how big each dot is and warns you when the code is too small. Choosing a higher strength helps a code that may get smudged.

Does a UPI code move money?

No. It only carries the payee’s UPI ID, name and (if you set one) the amount. The person who scans it sees the details in their own payment app and confirms there. Double-check the UPI ID before you print it.

Can I use the code somewhere else?

Yes. Under “Or keep just the code” you can download it as a PNG picture, or as an SVG that printers and designers can scale without losing sharpness.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your own device. There is no upload step and no server that receives it. You can even switch off your internet after the page has loaded and most tools keep working.
