How to use Read QR code

  1. 1Choose a PDF, or a picture (a photo of a QR code, a screenshot, a scan).
  2. 2Wait a moment while every page is checked. Each QR code found is listed once, with the pages it is on.
  3. 3Read what it says: the address and where it goes, a UPI payment, a Wi-Fi login, a contact.
  4. 4Copy it, or press Open this link if you trust it. Nothing is opened for you.

Questions

Is it safe to check a QR code I don’t trust?

Reading it here is safe: the code is read on your device and nothing is opened. You see the full address first, and the tool warns about common tricks (a link that isn’t secure, look-alike letters, a bare number address, a hidden user name). Still, only open links you trust, and check a UPI payee’s name and ID before you pay.

What if it finds nothing, but I can see a code?

Try a sharper or bigger copy, or a photo taken straight on in good light with the whole code in view. A code that is very small, blurred, curved or pale can be too faint to read.

Can it read more than one code?

Yes. Every different code in the file is listed. If the same code is on several pages, it is shown once with all its pages.

Does it read ordinary barcodes?

No. It reads QR codes only, not the striped barcodes on products.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your own device. There is no upload step and no server that receives it. You can even switch off your internet after the page has loaded and most tools keep working.
