How to use Prepare for upload
- 1Add the PDFs and photos the portal wants in one file (for example your marksheet pages). Drag them into order.
- 2Enter the form’s rules: the maximum size (like 200 KB), PDF or JPG, A4 pages and the most pages allowed.
- 3Press Make it ready. Each rule is then checked and shown with a tick or a cross, and you download the file.
Questions
What if the file can’t get under the limit?
You get the smallest file possible and a red cross, never a false tick. Only pictures can shrink; text and fonts have a floor. Splitting the file or removing pages helps.
Will it remove pages to fit the page limit?
No. If there are too many pages it stops and tells you, so nothing goes missing without you knowing. Use Split PDF or Remove blank pages first.
Why change the file name?
Some portals reject names with spaces, brackets or Hindi letters. The file is saved with only letters, numbers, - and _, and you can type your own name.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and changed inside your browser, on your own device. There is no upload step and no server that receives it. You can even switch off your internet after the page has loaded and most tools keep working.
